I am a single parent with an eight year old daughter...lately, last year, I stopped doing two jobs because my arthritis was progressing... A friend told me about African Center support. They helped me apply for rental support and also helped me pay...for my CNA classes.

The program was so helpful for me and my family, especially for my...daughter who was here illegally and the asylum finally got approved. So now she can get healthcare. The only thing I have been receiving is the work permit which I am using to work. I have been working in the healthcare field since I was here, giving back to people who gave back to my daughter to retain her life back… I am so thankful to this Center for helping me so I could stay here safely with my daughter and my family
