SUMMARY:Baobab Senior Circle: Cooking Demonstration
DESCRIPTION:There is wisdom in gathering and even more in sharing a meal together and learning about different cultures.\nWe warmly invites you to join our older adults’ Baobab Senior Circle for an afternoon of food\, culture\, and community. Our Senior Circle is rooted in the belief that our elders deserve spaces where they feel seen\, celebrated\, and connected.\nThis month\, our older adults come together around Etor\, a beloved traditional dish from Ghana. This cooking demonstration will be led by our own Executive Director. This gathering is an opportunity for our elders to share stories around their families cooking traditions\, reduce isolation\, and experience the healing that comes from cultural connection.\nThe Baobab Senior Circle is part of ACCD’s commitment to the health and well-being of our elders in Dane County. \nThis event is free and open to older adults who are 55 and above.
