How It Works

• Attend the Event: Come to the distribution event in April to receive your child’s bike and helmet.
• Ride Safe: We’ll provide basic safety guidance to ensure your child rides confidently and safely.

About the Event

Join us as we distribute 100 bikes and helmets to youth in our community through the African Center’s Bikes for Kids program. This is more than a giveaway—it’s a celebration of possibility, mobility, and our commitment to ensuring every child has access to the tools they need to thrive. Whether your child is learning to ride for the first time or needs reliable transportation to school and activities, this program removes barriers and creates opportunities.

Last Year’s Success

In April 2025, we distributed over 140 bikes and helmets at 67 Nob Hill Rd. The event brought together families, volunteers, and partners for a day of joy, learning, and community building. Children left with more than bike. The kids left with smiles, confidence, and new possibilities. This year, we’re continuing that tradition.
