The Madison–Kanifing Sister City Gala invites the community to them for an unforgettable evening on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This event commemorates a decade of partnership between Madison, Wisconsin and Kanifing, The Gambia. This milestone celebration honors ten years of shared vision, educational advancement, and cross-cultural connection.

The evening will feature a powerful keynote address by Kaleem Caire, fifth-generation Madisonian and nationally recognized education leader. His presentation, “The Courage to Lead: Transforming Systems for Student Success,” will explore bold leadership, coalition building, and sustainable strategies that drive measurable academic achievement and equity at the local and national levels.
