Some stories are too important to let fade. During Friday’s Baobab Senior Circle gathering, community member Diana will share her mother’s first-hand account of their family’s life in the cotton fields of the American South. Through her words, we honor the courage, labor, and love that carried generations forward.
This session is part of ACCD’s Older Adults Program, which works to reduce isolation and bridge the information gap among elders in our community. We gather not just to listen, but to remember together. Our elders’ stories are living history, and every voice deserves to be heard.
This event is free and open to older adults who are 55 and above. Light refreshments will be provided.
