ACCD provides comprehensive support to job seekers of all backgrounds and skill levels. Our goal is to support community members in the greater Madison, WI area with their career pursuits and enhance their chances of securing employment. Staff work one-on-one with individuals to help them overcome their unique barriers to employment. ACCD is also a referral agency for the City of Madison’s Referrals and Interviews for Sustainable Employment (RaISE) Program, which helps connect job seekers with employment opportunities suitable for their skills and interests.
Staff and volunteers are available to assist clients with with:
- Finding suitable positions to apply for
- Filling out applications
- Creating or updating a resume
- Overcoming language barriers
- Social services navigation and follow-up support
