Rooted, life-giving and resilient like the baobab tree, our elders are the foundation of our community. We invite our older adults to join us for our Baobab Senior Circle gathering. We provide a welcoming space designed for African and African American older adults (55+) to connect, celebrate, and thrive together.

Twice a month, our older adults gather to honor our shared heritage, exchange stories from Africa and America, and strengthen the bonds that sustain us. Participants engage in storytelling, arts and cultural activities, peer support, and connections to resources that support their wellbeing. When the weather permits, we’ll venture outdoors for field trips and intergenerational experiences.

Each gathering includes a nutritious meal and warm fellowship.

Whether you’re an immigrant elder or rooted here for generations, you belong in this circle. Come reflect, learn, laugh, and be in community with those who understand the journey.
